But apart from these the yogic poses have proved helpful in clearing up other physical problems as
well. Here we present a list of yoga poses for gas and indigestion, which work like a charm in
relieving such problems.

(1) Vajrasana (Thunderbolt Pose): – One of the best yoga poses to relieve gas and indigestion
problems is Thunderbolt pose.

The thunderbolt pose is beneficial for those who suffer from gastritis, acidity, and other diseases
related to indigestion. This asana brings stability and strength to the lower part of your body and
eases up gas-related problems.

For performing the thunderbolt pose, sit on your heels and place your palms on your knees or
thighs. Breathe in deeply before you start this pose so that there is more oxygen absorption in the

Now breathe out slowly while relaxing the back muscles. Hold this position for a minute or two and
repeat the same process when you breathe in 3 times.
